Dear Valued Patients,
At SIEHT, your vision care is our top priority and I wanted you to know that due to unexpected personal reasons, I am taking a temporary break from both surgery and in clinic appointments.
Dr. Steven Hudson, MD, will be ramping his normal clinic and surgery schedule and we are also pleased to have Dr. Shazia Ahmed, MD, to assist Dr. Hudson in covering our cataract surgeries during my temporary break. Dr. Ahmed will also be assisting with LASIK surgeries at our practice. Dr. Ahmed, is a board certified and fellowship-trained surgeon at one of our partner practices, Arlington Eye Center in Arlington, VA. She specializes in complex cataract surgery, laser vision correction, ocular surface disease and corneal transplantation.
I hope to be back to my normal surgery and clinic schedule soon and until that time, you can trust that our full team at SIEHT, along with Dr. Ahmed’s support, are here for your vision care and needs. You can continue to expect the high-quality care, customer service and superior clinical outcomes that you know and expect from our practice.
